PHILADELPHIA, PA – April 29, 2019 – Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., announced the induction of heritage Classic Rock station 96.5 WCMF (WCMF-FM) into the Rochester Music Hall of Fame. The station is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary on air. During the ceremony, the station’s midday host Dave Kane was honored with a Special Merit Award for his 38 years on air and overall contributions to music in the Rochester community. Rochester Music Hall of Fame Class of 2019 inductees were honored on April 28 at the Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre in Rochester, NY.

Kane was joined by “The Break Room” morning show co-hosts Tommy Mulé, Pat Duffy, and Kim Berntson; Michael “Mud” Gross [Program Director and afternoon host, 96.5 WCMF] and Sue Munn at the induction ceremony.
The event featured musical performances by Guns N’ Roses guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal; Talas lead vocalist Phil Naro; The Firm and Whitesnake bassist Tony Franklin; and Vanilla Fudge drummer Carmine Appice.
