Michael Doyle

President of Sales Operations

Michael Doyle is the President of Sales Operations at Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S. Entercom reaches over 170 million people each month through a robust portfolio of over 230 radio stations, live events and digital platforms, and is the nation’s unrivaled leader in news and sports radio. In this role, oversees the company’s revenue management, ad sales marketing, inside sales and lead generation team and the collection and analysis of sales data.

Doyle joined Entercom in 2000 as the Vice President and General Manager for Entercom Rochester. He was elevated to serve as the company’s Regional Vice President, and later became the Regional President, where he spearheaded the re-launch of SmartReach Digital, Entercom’s integrated marketing solutions agency. In addition to his role as President of Sales Operations, Doyle served as Regional President for Entercom Buffalo, Detroit, Rochester and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton until 2020. Doyle increased cash flow and revenue in a number of Entercom markets, digitized sales efforts, developed training and lead generation capabilities and optimized functionality of the sales force. Prior to joining Entercom, Doyle began his career in radio sales at WGY in Schenectady, NY, and managed stations in both Albany and Syracuse, NY.

Doyle has served on boards for the American Heart Association and the Rochester Ronald McDonald House. He currently serves as chairman of the board of the College at Brockport Foundation. Doyle has also been twice recognized by Radio Ink Magazine as one of the best managers in radio.

Doyle earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the College at Brockport, State University of New York  and certificates in Business Analytics and Data Driven Marketing from Cornell University. He also completed the Executive Leadership Program for the National Association of Broadcasters at Georgetown University.
