PHILADELPHIA, PA – January 19, 2021 – Entercom announced the addition of Brian Shactman as morning show co-host for 1080 WTIC News Talk (WTIC-AM) in Hartford. Shactman will join co-host Ray Dunaway on “Mornings with Ray and Brian,” weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. ET, effective immediately.

Shactman joins Entercom after serving as an anchor for NBC10 Boston and New England Cable News since 2014. He most recently created and hosted “Primary Source,” a nightly political show focusing on the presidential primary and has also anchored weekend evenings on NBC10 Boston since the onset of the pandemic. Prior to that, Shactman held on-air roles for MSNBC, CNBC, NBC owned-and-operated television station in Connecticut, and ESPN. Among his career awards and accomplishments is a 2003 Associated Press Award for his documentary on legendary UConn coach Geno Auriemma, as well as a national Emmy Award nomination in 2012.
